Lamp

My office doubles as a guest room and this apothecary lamp sits on the night stand near the bed.  During times when we have no one staying in the room, I usually turn the shade to bouce it’s light off the wall for indirect light.

I came into to office early one morning while it was till dark and noticed the silhouette for the first time.  I deliberately shot to get the yellow incandescent light and softened the image focus in PS.

• As I alluded to in the notes, it’s exciting to look at something that has become an everyday sight and suddenly see something new in it.  I guess that might be one definition of a good photo.
