Lamp
My office doubles as a guest room and this apothecary lamp sits on the night stand near the bed. During times when we have no one staying in the room, I usually turn the shade to bouce it’s light off the wall for indirect light.
I came into to office early one morning while it was till dark and noticed the silhouette for the first time. I deliberately shot to get the yellow incandescent light and softened the image focus in PS.

Reminds me of the Pixar logo and the short film they made that animates just such a lamp. Nice composition!

As I alluded to in the notes, it’s exciting to look at something that has become an everyday sight and suddenly see something new in it. I guess that might be one definition of a good photo.
