A Walk in the Woods

I stopped to change lenses while shooting in Merck Forrest this past week and this couple passed me on their way back from a walk in the woods.  In their late middle age, they held hands the entire time and seemed very much in love.  Were they new lovers or long married and still feeling the spark?  It really didn’t matter - seeing them brought a smile to my face.  I hurried to switch lenses and snapped this shot as they reached a bend in the trail.
