This is great. I love the colors and the composition. It looks, to me, like there is water or steam coming out of holes, because of the shallow DoF. Amazing!!!!!

I took a series of shots, starting at f/2.8 up through f/22 - a good exercise. This one looked to me like a jet engine blastting away.
Were I to do it again, I’d work a bit more on the lighting to try to eliminate the blown out area at the rim of the handle and throw a bit more light on the loops of the whisk.

these high dof macros work REALLY well with this whisk… i’ve noticed that trend more and more around the internet—mixing tools, utencils, construction materials, etc, with high saturation, high contrast, DoF, or so on… to make some truly beautiful art pieces.
